about Us

Lockless is an innovative startup from Sapienza and Tor Vergata Universities of Rome. It stems from the experience grown over years of activity by the “High Performance and Dependable Computing Systems” (HPDCS) research group.

The core know-how of Lockless encompasses advanced approaches and technologies to develop high-performance and dependable computing systems and applications. Lockless is entirely composed of engineers and researchers, the majority of which got a Ph.D in Computer Engineering.

SYSTEM DESIGN and ENGINEERING

We design software systems, operating system components,
embedded systems and low-level software modules. Performance, availability and security represent key targets of our solutions.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE COMPUTING

We develop high-performance, real-time and massively-parallel processing systems, unleashing the computing power of multicore systems, distributed architectures and cloud platforms.

SYStem ASSESSMENT AND OPTIMIZATION

We have a long experience in the assessment and optimization of computing architectures and software systems, gained through various projects and collaborations with public bodies, SME and large companies.
